The Sleepy Monk Coffee Roastery is still in full operation, but closed to the public. Our flagship coffee shop has closed its doors permanently. We will continue to provide freshly roasted coffee through our online store and wholesale to many amazing businesses on the coast and beyond. You can find Sleepy Monk Coffee at grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and other locations.

Over the years visitors to the coastal towns of Cannon Beach, Seaside, and Manzanita eventually learned what residents already knew: In a community of many evident charms there existed a hidden gem crafting small-batch, freshly roasted organic coffee.

In the summer, you used to know us by the line out the door, the people and dogs lounging outside, and the festive chatter. Come winter, you’ll know it by the steady stream of regulars, the steam of the espresso machine as a winter storm lashes against the windows, and the smell of freshly roasted coffee. The coffee shop was truly a magical and cozy space!

Through all seasons, you’ll know Sleepy Monk by what defines it at its core: a brilliant, rich, complex, almost mystical cup of coffee, as warm and welcoming as the people who roast served it.
